WEST HAM, WOLVES AND NEWCASTLE KEEPING AN EYE ON UKRAINE INTERNATIONAL
While Mykhaylo Mudryk is being linked with Arsenal, he isn’t the only Ukraine international attracting interest from the Premier League. We say this because Jeunes Footeux are claiming that West Ham United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United are all ‘keeping an eye’ on Viktor Tsygankov. The 24-year-old is currently contracted to Dynamo Kyiv, but with a deal running out next summer, it appears Wolves, the Hammers and the Magpies have all started lurking in case a deal can be made.
With Daniel Podence and Adama Traoré at his disposal for the current season, Bruno Lage isn’t exactly desperate for a player of Tsygankov’s ilk just yet, but should the Spaniard leave on a free when his contract at Molineux runs out, then that could change. West Ham, however, could perhaps do with an extra winger to make up numbers up front, and the same applies to Newcastle, who seem a bit short for options down the wings, especially with Allan Saint-Maximin currently injured.
This is something Eddie Howe and David Moyes might be keen to address in January, and Tsygankov could be there waiting for them. Should either of the Premier League trio decide to move for the Ukraine international, however, they would seemingly face competition from Borussia Dortmund and Leipzig, also said to be keen, per Jeunes Footeux.
