The Wolves manager Dean Saunders has revealed that he is extremely confident that club can survive in the division next season. Saunders took over as the manager of the club a few weeks ago.

At the time of taking over, the club still had the opportunity to finish in the play-off position because they were only six points off the pace. However, since then a poor run of form has resulted in the club falling closer to the relegation zone. A run of five matches without a victory has left the club just two points above the relegation zone.

Wolves will certainly find it hard to take the prospect of another relegation. They were only recently relegated from the Premier league. Saunders has said that he has seen enough in the players to be convinced that they will be able to survive in division. He has expressed a lot of satisfaction about the way the players have been training over the last couple of weeks. While admitting that his players are good enough to avoid relegation, Saunders refused to think that the players and himself should not assume that relegation will not come to a club like Wolves once again. Wolves' prospect of escaping relegation has been made tough by the results this weekend.

“We’ve got enough to keep us in the division as we are. We’ve got good enough players. I watched them train on Monday morning and there are a lot of them who train properly, they put their foot in and they want to win. They’re all moaning about decisions and the attitude has been good in training. But I’ve been brought here because something is wrong. I’ve got to sort it out and I will,” said Saunders. The club last managed a victory back in December.
